We are looking for people who have demonstrated a capacity to think laterally and deeply, to tackle complexity with wise insight and to hold a lot of empathy for the suffering and oppressed across the worlds. We are seeking to build a pluriversal team of people to help provide guidance for how we develop and grow.
As such, you will understand the power of the somatic processes used across many societies to bring about transformational change, not only in the individual, but also collectively, in families, communities and wider society.
You will hold an understanding of the systems and structures that keep much of the worlds’ stuck in particular ways of being and doing and with an obsession of having that perpetuates both trauma, and on-going violence, at many levels of being.
You will be active in your own field of interest, or taking a rest or break from it and feel able to contribute to what we desire to grow, and embed, in the social matrices we work amongst.
You have a desire to serve Earth in its different dimensions. You are prepared to meet on a regular basis, (dates and times yet to be determined, approx. 4-6 times a year) and contribute to decision making around organisational progress and change.
You will be able to meet remotely or in person with other members of the counsel. You will be able to build mutual understanding and to bond into becoming a group who can eventually steer the work of the organisation, and help keep it accountable to its stated vision and aims and values.
Experience, skills or knowledge in one or more of the following fields will be desirable:
- management of projects in the fields of environment, cultural change and conflict
- organisational development and change
- anthropology, philosophy or psychology
- Practical experience of working with Shamanic work, working intergenerationally and with more than human lifeforms and different types of storytelling.
- An awareness of gender dynamics, age dynamics and the intersections of race, social class, physical and mental abilities, and life-force energy, from the points of view of different worlds and worlding processes.
- Practical people who have learned from the elements of soil, water, death, bringing and nurturing life, change processes, education and health support will also be valuable.
- Those who recognise the importance of service to humanity, who are reflective of the lessons of histories and who are conscious of the processes of futuring are welcome.
- This will be a space of mutual tolerance, and learning from difference and of embracing knowledge and personal growth.
- A sense of humour.
