Community Centred Knowledge

Building the People’s Knowledge
for the People’s Progress

Pluriversal knowledges are drawn from the many ways of experiencing Earth and each other. Knowledges may be linear or circular or spiral, embodied, projected or in a dynamic. There may be either/ors as binaries, complementarities and interdependencies. Within any community there may be multiple shaping knowledges drawn from within or imposed upon from outside or drawn from other (colonial/colonised) spaces.

How We Work

 Food Justice and Food Autonomies

We value the importance of somatic, artistic, embodied, relational, and spiritual knowledge. We apply this perspective when supporting food justice and food autonomies so we can nurture the earth while we build good relationships.

Earth and Community Relationships

We champion environmental justice and the good community relationships we need to honour life cycles and other cycles of matter, knowledge and energy (reusing, recycling and upcycling). We plan together for Justice.

Life: More Than Just Human

We recognise that we are also earth and therefore more than simply human. This means we respect and share relationship with multiple, intersecting ecologies with whom we practice solidarity and work towards reciprocities.

Employment Opportunities

Can you support our organisation’s heart?

We’re looking for an organised, thoughtful Administrative Assistant
to support our work from behind the scenes—someone who brings calm and focused energy, attention to detail, and a deep commitment to community.
